Elizabeth Jane Hurley has been a model and actress in the United Kingdom since the early 1980s. In the year 1990 it was reported that she could be the lover of Hugh Grant. In the 1990s, when Hugh Grant's movie Four Weddings and a Funeral became the subject of global interest in the media, Hurley accompanied Grant to the film's Los Angeles premiere wearing a black Versace dress with gold safety-pins. It instantly brought her media recognition. Hurley's relationship to Estee Lauder, a cosmetics producer, is regarded as the pinnacle of her professional life. Hurley was hired by Estee Lauder to be their first model at age 29. In 1995 she has been used as a face in the products of the company including Sensuous Intuition & Pleasures. Vanessa Kensington is her best famous role, which she played in her roles in the Mike Myers spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me Both of which were huge hits. Some critics claimed that the song encouraged sexual relationships between gay and straight men, however others believed that the scene which was depicted on the album was more appealing to fantasies of males. I Kissed a Girl became the number one hit in the world because of its mix of sexual enticement and a refined tune. It also helped her sell more albums, such as the album One of the Boys. With its bouncy sharp-tongued second single Hot N Cold also proving popular the album much of which Perry wrote herself eventually registered sales of more than 3 million copies across the United States.
